I acted for clients in relation to preparing Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) documents. My client had physical issues and was extremely emotional after having a stroke two years prior. I assisted by attending their home, and tried to be as compassionate and understanding as I could, during what was a difficult process for the lady who was dealing with the fact that she now physically needed assistance in some aspects of her life.
I helped explain why the LPAs could benefit her and made what she thought was going to be a difficult issue as simple and straightforward as possible.
