    Paul has been a qualified solicitor for 18 years and has spent the entirety of that time in the Commercial and Dispute Resolution department. Paul advises businesses in ownership disputes, contract disputes with suppliers and customers, employment disputes and preparing commercial contracts.

    Paul is also a specialist in Landlord and Tenant/Social Housing law and acts for Housing Associations, Private Landlords and Tenants. He deals with drafting tenancy agreements, possession actions, disrepair problems, issues involving anti-social behaviour and succession issues. Paul also deals with all types of property disputes including ownership disputes, boundary disputes, issues regarding rights of way and party walls. He has recently acted for a couple in a boundary dispute case which received coverage in the national press.

    Paul’s aim is to achieve the best result for the client for the least expense. If this outcome cannot be achieved through negotiation then Paul is able to fully prepare and assist clients in contested Court hearings.

    His recent cases include acting for a local business involved in a £14 million fraud and successfully negotiating a settlement, advising two company directors in a dispute with their co-directors upon the failing of a business and acting for a national transport manufacturer in a dispute with a customer.

    Sharon is a Family Solicitor with over 29 years’ experience, being admitted in 1988. She is a trained mediator, and a member of Resolution. She has extensive experience in dealing with the financial aspects of separation and divorce, dealing with disputes between parents in private law children cases (for residence and contact) and dealing with financial issues upon the separation of cohabiting couples.

    Sharon is an elected member of the Committee for Kent Resolution First for Family law and was the Secretary for Maidstone Domestic Violence Forum for a number of years. She is well known for the depth of knowledge and skill she brings to dealing with domestic abuse cases.

In 2010 Sharon represented Great Britain on the track at 10,000 metres in the European Masters Track Championships, winning a bronze medal. She also represented the England Masters Cross Country Team in 2010.

With over ten years experience, having qualified in 2002,  of care proceedings and private law children cases Charlotte has an in depth knowledge of her field of work.     Colin Dearmer specialises in all areas of child care, including care proceedings, private law children proceedings and wardship.  He has a formidable record in acting for parents, children and children’s guardians.

    A qualified Social Worker from 1991, Colin worked as a senior Social Worker specialising in child protection and child care for a London Local Authority before qualifying as a solicitor in 1991.  He practised in Brixton and Southend, prior to joining our firm in 2007. Colin qualified as a solicitor in 1991.

    He is a member of the Law Society Children Panel and previously was an Assessor for the Law Society’s Children Panel since 1992. Colin is a member of the legal group of the British Association for Adoption and Fostering and has twice been Chair of the legal group. He is a member of the Adoption Panels for the London Borough of Bexley and the London Borough of Croydon.

    Dianne has been a member of our Dispute Resolution team for over 15 years. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2000, obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with distinction in 2002 and qualified as a solicitor the same year.

    Dianne has significant experience of dealing with personal injury claims and is a member of APIL (the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).  She also advises on employment law, contract and consumer law and general dispute resolution.

    Having graduated from The University of Kent with a First Class Hons in Forensic Science, Amy embarked on her academic legal training, completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at City University, London with a Commendation, and the Legal Practice Course at The Inns of Court School of Law, with a Distinction.  Amy trained with Berry & Lamberts, and qualified into the Commercial & Dispute Resolution department in 2010.
