    Paul has been a qualified solicitor for 18 years and has spent the entirety of that time in the Commercial and Dispute Resolution department. Paul advises businesses in ownership disputes, contract disputes with suppliers and customers, employment disputes and preparing commercial contracts.

    Paul is also a specialist in Landlord and Tenant/Social Housing law and acts for Housing Associations, Private Landlords and Tenants. He deals with drafting tenancy agreements, possession actions, disrepair problems, issues involving anti-social behaviour and succession issues. Paul also deals with all types of property disputes including ownership disputes, boundary disputes, issues regarding rights of way and party walls. He has recently acted for a couple in a boundary dispute case which received coverage in the national press.

    Paul’s aim is to achieve the best result for the client for the least expense. If this outcome cannot be achieved through negotiation then Paul is able to fully prepare and assist clients in contested Court hearings.

    His recent cases include acting for a local business involved in a £14 million fraud and successfully negotiating a settlement, advising two company directors in a dispute with their co-directors upon the failing of a business and acting for a national transport manufacturer in a dispute with a customer.

    Sharon is a Family Solicitor with over 30 years’ experience, being admitted in 1988. She is a trained Mediator and a member of Resolution. She has extensive experience in dealing with the financial aspects of separation and divorce, dealing with disputes between parents in private law children cases (for residence and contact) and dealing with financial issues upon the separation of cohabiting couples.

    Sharon is an elected member of the Committee for Kent Resolution First for Family Law and was the Secretary for Maidstone Domestic Violence Forum for a number of years. She is well known for the depth of knowledge and skill she brings to dealing with domestic abuse cases.

    Sharon is a keen runner in her spare time, having run numerous marathons with a personal best of 2 hours 58 minutes. In 2010 Sharon represented Great Britain on the track at 10,000 metres in the European Masters Track Championships, winning a bronze medal. She also represented the England Masters Cross Country Team in 2010.

    Charlotte specialises in child care and domestic abuse cases. She is a member of The Law Society Children Panel and of Resolution. With over 15 years’ experience, having qualified in 2002,  of care proceedings and private law children cases, Charlotte has an in-depth knowledge of her field of work.

    She also has a particular interest in assisting and representing individuals in cases involving domestic abuse. She has acted for clients in all levels of Court up to and including the Court of Appeal.

    Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor in 2008, Jane was a qualified Social Worker specialising in child protection and child care in an outer London borough. She was an experienced Social Worker practitioner, Senior Manager and Independent Reviewing Officer and has an extensive working knowledge of Children’s Services procedures.

    Stephen is a keen cyclist having completed the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton charity bike ride five times. He loves the outdoors and is very keen on country walking with family and friends. His interests include the arts and in particular, prints, paintings and drawings, sculpture and literature. He is also very keen on music and enjoys a wide variety of genres.

    He enjoys live performances in London and Brighton. As a National Trust member, he is interested in history, architecture and particularly old buildings. Sport is a passion including rugby, cricket and football. He is married with three children including two stepchildren, and has accumulated six grandchildren with another to come early in 2021!
